The beauty and the beastS



Our group name is the beauty and the beastS. We chose it because our group consists of 3 boys and 1 girl. We consider the girl to be the finest maiden of the land, hence we call her “beauty”. The three gentlemen are very kind but not that attractive, hence “beast”.

Stock Market Ambassadors

 We had the chance to follow and participate in a lecture hosted by ambassadors from the Finnish Pörssisäätiö. The lecture covered the topic of personal finance. Most of the material was already quite clear to our group but the presentation solidified it all into an easy-to-understand package. The main points we took away were the need to start saving and investing from a young age and to not be afraid of the stock market as it's quite easy to comprehend. The only negative part was the Kahoot which was very difficult to play for non-Finnish speakers.

Josh Mat Sevan -podcast

 The Josh Mat Sevan podcast is about three guys who are heavily involved in the cross-fit space. They talk a lot about the thing related to cross-fit and what they do in their free time outside of sport. Regular topics include families, coffee, and traveling. Josh and Mat are former CrossFit competitors and Sevan used to work for the media team at CrossFit HQ. The information relating to sports is coming from top athletes but they don't claim to have any definite answers. They make it clear that the views presented are purely their own. The podcast is very entertaining for fans of CrossFit and people interested in fitness in general.
